10 Sites or Software to Help Create Great Interview Questions

Project: Oral History states that preparation is the key to success in any oral history interview. The following 10 sites or software help to create great interview questions. Legacy Family Tree Software, for instance, has a master list of 1200 questions in 13 different categories. Some of the sites help to capture the audio recordings.

  1. FamilySearch.org has the capacity for adding online photos and stories to their FamilyTree. Have some been added for the person you are researching?
  2.  familystorytelling.com
  3.  Legacy Family Tree Software 7.5 version has 1200 questions in 13 different categories. Just click reports, then go to books/other tab, and it is listed under interview questions. Many great ideas.
  4.  legacystories.org (allows one to put voice to stories and photos and put on FamilySearch)
  5.  Memory Grabber software @ http://www.davidrm.com/thejournal/tjfeatures-memoryg.php
  6.  Personal Historian 2 has a master story list. Compatible with RootsMagic, Family Tree Maker (version 16 and earlier), PAF (version 5), Legacy (versions 3 and later).
  7. reelgenie.com
  8. savingmemoriesforever.com
  9. treelines.com
  10. voicequilt.com
Is there a site or software that has helped you to capture the interview?
Please comment and let everyone know.
